This includes the interpretation of received messages and the extraction of Parameter Group Number, Source Address and transmitted Suspect Parameters with SPN, SP name, value and unit. Furthermore the Messages Priority, Data Page, Protocol Data Unit Format and Protocol Data Unit Specific Fields are displayed. The J1939 module provides furthermore processing and interpretation of the transport protocol as well as the interpretation of diagnostic messages. Proprietary application messages can be interpreted if a user defined database with Parameter Group and Suspect Parameter definitions is provided. EtherNet/IP Scanner Simulation Tool (EIPScan) In addition to the already available EtherNet/IP software packages, IXXAT offers now an EtherNet/IP Scanner Simulation Tool (EIPScan). EIPScan is based on the EtherNet/IP Scanner Developers Kit (ESDK) and provides the simulation of an EtherNet/IP Scanner on a standard PC. The tool supports UCMM as well as Class 1 and Class 3 connected messaging (I/O and Explicit) as client and server each. The tool enables EtherNet/IP product engineers to test and operate their own EtherNet/IP adapters based on EADK or EIPA. An EDS file for the usage of the EtherNet/IP configuration tool RSNetWorx(TM) for EtherNet/IP from Rockwell Automation is included. EIPScan will be shipped as executable program for Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP. New version of the EtherNet/IP software available A new version 3.6.3.14 for the EtherNet/IP software packages EADK, ESDK, EIPA and EIPS is available now. Besides bug fixes and extended functionality, the software packages now provide an example program to read and write tags in a Rockwell Automation Logix(TM) System. Customers with a valid support and maintenance contract will get the software free of charge. Fairs in April and May At the Hanover Industry Fair on April 24.-28., IXXAT will be at the EPSG booth (booth number B66) to present its ETHERNET Powerlink products.
